Hi AzRickster, Thank you for your interest in the Sony 65" Bravia 9 and for sharing your experience. We regret to hear about the issues with your previous Sony TV and understand your concerns. Your feedback is valuable to us as we continuously strive to improve our products and services. Here are a few reasons why the Sony Bravia 9 is a worthy investment: Unlike other TVs, our expanded color volume keeps images vivid and saturated even at high luminance levels, so you see pictures just as the creators intended. Experience a new era in contrast. With a unique local dimming algorithm, XR Backlight Master Drive precisely controls thousands of Mini LEDs for truly authentic contrast. Everywhere’s the best seat. With X-Anti Reflection™, pictures are clearer with less reflection and glare. X-Wide Angle™ keeps pictures looking as beautiful from the sides as they do from the center. We understand your hesitations and would like to restore your confidence in Sony. If you have any further questions or need more information, feel free to contact us. Unfortunately, due to the current Bestbuy phishing protocol for your protection, we cannot provide a direct email or phone number for customer support as of now. Please find Sony Electronics' Support information: Go to our support website > click on “Support” > scroll down click on “Contact Support” > click on [Product Type] and from there you'll see different ways to reach us. Thank you for considering Sony. Regards, Sam
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unless you have a 5 year warranty to force them to come up with a solution, maybe you can appeal to Sony for some kind of compromise, maybe a discount on a newer model. When I was TV shopping I saw some people on the AVS forum said to NEVER buy an OLED without the max warranty, no matter the brand. Supposedly Sony is getting out of the OLED TV market and going with mini-LED (Bravia9) and soon, micro-LED TVs(in a few years). I went with the Bravia 9 myself and have no regrets, and no worries about screen burn-in. Most reviews say the mini-LED TVs are a very close second to OLED but without the problems. Watch Digital Trends YouTube on the Bravia 9.
