QuestionIf I were to Bluetooth to a headset (or hearing aids) would it only be private listening (muting the tv for others) or would others still be able to hear unless I muted the tv. Also, does it have the Discovery app?

The Bluetooth function of our 65" X80J will work with Bluetooth headphones and hearing aids that supports Bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) profile for music playback. If your headset or hearing aids support this Bluetooth profile, then yes, it will perfectly work with this TV. For your first question, if you connect the audio device to the TV headphone jack, the HDMI ports, or through Bluetooth, the TV can't output sound from both the TV speakers and the audio device at the same time. QuestionRecently bought a Samsung smartTV(X80 J) and my Direct TV receiver will not output too my TV. The TV will “display the picture” but it’s only a blank screen. I have tried different cables and outlets and still won’t work.

- Answer Hello, Thank you for purchasing the BRAVIA X80J LED TV. You can connect the DirecTV box to any of the HDMI Inputs(HDMI ports 1/2/3/4) of the KD65X80J. Verify which HDMI® input on the TV that the DirecTV box is connected. On the supplied TV remote control, press the INPUT button repeatedly until it displays the correct HDMI input where the DirecTV is connected. I hope this helps! Jay

QuestionI bought the 65" X80J a few weeks ago and setup went fine but now the remote will not work with the cable box. It still works fine with any TV functions. I tried redoing setup but it tries connecting for over an hour. Help!

QuestionIs there specific HDMI cables to be utilized. The KD 65x80j looses picture and sound intermittently. I get a I don’t get a signal and lose internet connection messages. . My provider is Verizon FIOS. Are there specific speed requirements.
