Q: QuestionHow does Apple CarPlay connect with this? In lower models (XAVAX1000, specifically) I see a USB on the front, but this one seems to have a cable. Where does that cable come from/go?

• A:Answer There are 2 usb cables that run off the back of the deck. You can then run them where you want. Glove box, center council. Mine are run through the center council. You then plug your Apple cord or android cord.

Q: QuestionI got this XAV5000 unit installed in my Toyota Camry 2011. Apply Car play works with no issues but Andriod auto doesnt work at all, ever since it was installed. My android version is 8.0.0. Can Sony help here? If not, I will have to return this unit.
