X-Motion Clarity is Sony’s “upscaling” motion technology. Although the tv has a native 120hz refresh rate, the motion technology pushes that to the next level. What separates X-Motion Clarity from other brands’ motion technology (like Samsung and LG) is brightness. When a tv is adjusting to high motion, it consumes more power and thus dims the tv. Sony released X-Motion Clarity for most of their 2020 “H” models and it is capable of adjusting to high motion AND keep its brightness.

The X-Motion Clarity™ is one of the latest Sony technology which allows you to keep the picture smooth, bright, and clear. Each ‘blink’ is individually controlled and its duration optimized, while brightness is boosted when needed, so you won’t miss a thing. This feature can be adjusted according to your preferences in the picture settings of our X900H. Although we cannot compare the subjective experience of the X-Motion Clarity™ to other motion standards, we can guarantee you that our XBR75X900H will provide you an excellent viewing experience- especially when watching sports and fast action scenes with the help of our X-Motion Clarity™ feature! I hope this helps! - Romeo
