- Answer It only allows you to select Dolby vision settings when the tv is receiving a Dolby vision signal.

- Answer HDMI 3 is the eARC output on the tv. It is worth saying too that your Dennon needs ARC in as well, which it should say on the hdmi to tv output you’re using.

- Answer Yes, it is adjustable. It has two different mount modes. One to have the tv closer to flat if you have it on an entertainment center and a raised option where you can display a sound bar lower than the tv and it doesn’t obstruct the view. Easy to connect also, the mounts just click in once to the desired orientation.

- Answer You shouldn’t need to, your power should be stable enough but I would at least put it on a surge protector just to protect it a little. If you have the budget though a line filter wouldn’t hurt and they cover damages from surges if you register your products.

- Answer Hi Timlallen, Thanks for your inquiry. For the A80J, the TV cannot output sound from both the headphones or Bluetooth audio device and the TV speakers at the same time. Doing this will cancel the TV speakers from being used. Sound can be output from both an audio system connected to the TV and the TV speakers at the same time by satisfying the following conditions. - Connecting the TV and audio system using a digital optical cable - Setting [Digital audio out] to [PCM] By connecting your headphones to the TV headphone jack (3.5 mm stereo mini jack) and your Soundbar or Receiver to the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT port, it will output sound from both the headphones and a Soundbar or Receiver. There are also Sony RF (radio Frequency) wireless headset options such as the Sony WH-L600 or WH-RF400 that uses its own transmitter connected to the headphone jack on your TV as well as optical digital output (WH-L600) of the TV. QuestionBought a Sony XR-77A80J. There is a 3/4" black line all the way across the bottom of the screen above the bottom screen bezel. I thought it might be normal. My friend claims it isn't. I have tried all settings, inputs, aspect resets, etc. Normal?

- Answer I have the same model and the same dark strip you describe and I’ve come to the conclusion it’s normal. The aspect ratios are so varied given the many sources and content available these days it makes sense that they will rarely match up perfectly with your screens aspect ratio. I’ve payed attention to every photo taken of this tv and I see the same look in every one. If you discover a different explanation, please share. I’m loving my TV in the meantime.

Ambient mode configures what is displayed on the screen when the TV is not operated after a certain amount of time while displaying content other than broadcasts and videos. You can manage ambient mode settings by pressing the (Quick Settings) button on the remote control, then select [Settings] — [System] — [Ambient mode]. If you are referring about turning off the Ambient mode, unfortunately, there are no user settings to disable it completely or select when to start displaying the Ambient mode. - Answer I use Kim Wipes and some glasses cleaner spray. Kim Wipes are excellent because they don't leave any lint behind. I usually use them for microscope lenses or the sensor on my DSLR camera. You can get large ones for this massive screen.

- Answer Same here on my a80j 65”. I noticed when i hold the antenna input and the plastic housing behind where there’s side usb,hdmi, headphones jacks .. it stops. I thought I had broken speakers. But the problem isn’t fixed

- Answer Four total, 2 of which support 4K at 120 Hz (and variable refresh rate in a promised future update). One of the 4K120 ports is also the ARC/eARC port so keep that in mind if you have a receiver and two gaming devices that you'd want to run at 4K120.
