Mainly the difference between these models are: Bravia 3 has the 4K HDR processor X1 while BRAVIA 7 and 9 has the XR Processor that intelligently enhances every scene in real-time boosting color, contrast, and clarity. The Bravia 7 and 9 have a MINI LED back light system with the Bravia 9 having the High Luminance feature to allow it to get even higher peak specular highlights and brightness. The Bravia 3 will have a Direct Lit backlighting system. The Bravia 7 and 9 in all sizes will have a 120hz panel with XR Motion Clarity and the Bravia 3 will have a 60hz panel with Motionflow technology. The Bravia 7 and 9 will have 2 HDMI 2.1 ports.(HDMI 3 and 4) The Bravia 7 and 9 will have the Multi Acoustic Audio feature with X-Balance speaker to enhance the overall dynamic audio range of the TV speaker for an even more immersive experience. The Bravia 3 will have the X-Balance speakers. Bezel design of BRAVIA 3 is flush surface while BRAVIA 7 and 9 are seamless edge. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There’s a surprisingly small difference in brightness between the Bravia 7 and 9, in most images, when viewing them side by side in the showroom. I chose to save a substantial amount of money and went with the 7. Very satisfied with my choice!
