Hi MD2002, Thank you for your inquiry and for raising your concern. We have no known issue about blooming or any picture-related issue with our premium Bravia TVs especially for X91J. The picture quality of the TV will depend on many things such as the quality of the source, settings of the TV and depending on the room environment. We highly suggest playing and watching high-quality content with this TV and adjusting the picture settings according to the user's preference. In case you will get this unit and encounter any issue, you can email us at [email protected] so we can assist you further. I hope this helps. Vincent
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So far it’s not noticeable to me during movies or videos unless the video involves a dark black screen. During gaming and app use it’s very noticeable and it’s possibly the worst I’ve seen. It can look like a large flicker across the screen and even the techs who mounted the tv for me were checking it out. One of them even went to check the box to just to see if it was actually a FALD tv. It’s that bad. It’s 40 dimming zones on an 85 inch screen. That being said, i really haven’t noticed it during movies or shows so far.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thanks. I actually have the X85J and when this one went on sale for the same price I got the X85J for I decided to order this one. It hasn't arrived yet, but reading about the blooming I'm starting to think maybe I should just keep the X85J. But in the store there is certainly a difference in picture between the two, I'm assuming because of the full array. The 91 looks better than the x85 in the store. I'm just debating if I should just keep the x85 and cancel the 91 but may as well give it a shot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Whoever says that has the brightness turned up too high or does not have the correct settings. When in a dark room watching actual content the blooming is not noticeable to me and I have owned the 900h, the 95j and this tv. It handles blooming fine and it looks great, definitely not unwatchable...but if you want absolutely no blooming get an OLED.
