If you're taking wildlife photography, you more than likely don't want to be using the 16-55mm lens. I would like at the 100mm lenses as a starting point, preferably something with a lower f-stop. I've accomplished some great wildlife shot using the 16-55mm but, the zoom is limited. That's on any camera with this lens

The lens that comes with the camera is a kit lens and only has a focal length of 16-50mm. However, you can purchase a larger zoom range lens to be used with the camera.
