“Is this camera water proof, could you record in the rain.”

• I would not use it in the rain unless you get stuck with it in light rain maybe a few drops here and there. However, I would not go out there in the middle of a downpour and use the camera then. It is weather sealed they say but I would not trust that all the way because it still has dials and buttons and stuff where water I am sure can drip in if you are in a downpour.

• Hi Jay, Sony's commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority. The camera is not waterproof. The camera is resistant to wet and dusty conditions but we do not recommend shooting in the rain. The camera is not guaranteed to be 100% dust and moisture proof.
