- Answer Has one but good luck finding the station as nothing indicates where you are on frequency spectrum so you have to go first one way and then the other to find the station you nwant.

QuestionSet the alarm for radio, but get the buzzer.I have set the alarm to wake up to the radio and it displays that it will wake up to the radio, but I get the buzzer.

- Answer Follow the steps exactly for programming: the buzzer is the default. I had to do this twice: first, make sure you program a radio station as one of the presents (1,2,3 etc.) And, as you go through the programming function, remember to hit the snooze bar (ENTER) after each programming selection. I didn't have the station programmed the first time and the result was the default buzzer.

QuestionHow do you turn off the radio?You can turn the radio on by pressing the "radio" button on top. However, pressing that button again does not turn the radio off. The only way we have found to turn off the radio is to set the sleep timer to 15 and let it run out that way. This is crazy. Why would there not be a way to turn off the radio?

- Answer look at the instruction diagram. It is small on the left top of radio. It should be bigger and colored to make more obvious. It does say "off".

- Answer You choose your time zone and the clock will synch up with shortwave radio signal from WWV, keeps accurate time via atomic clock in Fort Collins, Colorado or somewhere else in Hawaii (I think). If you live in a big concrete building like I do or around lots of big buildings, it does not receive well. Anyway, you can still set the time yourself, but it is cool to have it synch automatically. There is also a button for daylight savings time so it keeps your time accurate.

Questionwhat is (are) the power source?does it have an electrical power source to plug into the wall or does it only have batteries that need to be charged or batteries that need to be replaced? I may be old fashioned, but I just want a new alarm clock radio that plugs into the wall. I've have a Sony dream machine for over 30 years that is beginning to die now.

- Answer The radio has an electrical cord, has a disc battery backup for when the electric might go off line,is automatically set to EST. the buttons are set on back of radio if you have to change time zone.

- Answer Yes. Very clear. You have to extend the electric cord all the way out for the antenna to work. Once done, all local stations come in clear.

QuestionCan the nature sounds stay on all night?Our sound machine is broken and I like the rain setting to be on all night. From reading the specs it seems that the nature sounds are timed to come on when an alarm is set or only for a certain length of time before it shuts off.

- Answer Hi Heyhilly, this unit automatically adjusts for daylight saving time (summer time). “DST” automatically appears on the display at the beginning of daylight saving time (summer time), and disappears at the end of daylight saving time (summer time). Dave

Questiondoes this device run on electricity with a cord to plug in or does it just run on battery only?i hope it does have an electric cord to plug in. i don't want to think about having to change batteries. i know it has a battery back up system, but i don't see anything about electrical. if it does run on electricity, it is the one i'll buy because i think the projecting of what's on the clock onto the wall would be cool.

- Answer I have this product and you can plug it in via cord. I keep mine plugged in. This product is great! My only problem - my cats think the red light on the ceiling (the time from the clock) is a laser pointer, hehe!

QuestionJust had a power failure - the screen went dark. But when the power came back - the time was accurate and alarm times were still set. Is that normal for the display to go away even with with battery backup?

- Answer Yes. Displays take a lot of energy so the battery is not intended to power the display.

QuestionAfter hitting snooze and the alarm rings again, is it still gentle?I currently have an alarm that offers gradual wake up. After the initial sounding--if I hit snooze and it resounds-- it does NOT gradually sound again. It just goes right into the loudest setting. Inducing panic... So if I hit snooze and the alarm rings again, will it gradually go off again?

- Answer Yes it is gradual. Also, if you hit once it will sound again in 10 min, if you hit twice it will sound again in 20 min, etc.
