A:AnswerYep. I'd invest in an HDMI cord that's at least 3 feet long (so you have space to run it from your player to your tv). This is assuming that your tv has HDMI input ports available. It's best to confirm that FIRST by checking the back and the sides of your tv. Most of today's sets have at least ONE HDMI port and then the usual A/V ports. Use whichever wiring you need to set it up and always confirm with a sales rep before you purchase additional wiring.
A:AnswerYes you can I have mine streaming thru the same player. Sometimes you have to go online and register and select your apps thru your Sony account.
A:Answerin my experience not every show is broadcast in surround sound. it also requires the correct hookup for optimum sound. i have major home theatre set ups at my house and have enjoyed at least half of the netflix programs viewed with amazing 5.1 surround sound from my samsung blu-ray player which is plugged into my surround system.. my tv is a panasonic vieta. even is everything is hooked up the surround sound device could be set to the wrong mode.

A:AnswerI have an LG soundbar that has a digital optical input from the TV. If I am running HDMI to the TV, the soundbar can't handle it. I have to use component input to the TV in order for the soundbar to be able to work. Try a different input method and see if that resolves it. Good luck!
A:AnswerYes, for some reason, it cannot play the Thor Blu-ray disc in its entirety. It could be the disc however as the other 3D movies seem to play fine.
A:AnswerIt should be able to, as long as it is discoverable (seen as a shared device) on the network. I've had no problems seeing and playing content from computers and network attached storage devices on my network.
A:AnswerIt has a disk tray that slides out for movies in 3 different formats. I don't know about some games. I don't believe it can do most games because there is no hookups for controllers of games on it.
