• Yes. First, I'm assuming you have an older receiver that does not have HDMI inputs so if that is the case then run a digital coaxial cable from the Sony Blu ray player to your receiver so you are able to get Dolby Digital and DTS sound from movies/shows.

• The unit has HDMI out for the TV and analog output as well as spdif digital for a receiver.

• Hello Mary! Yes, you can send audio and video through the HDMI into the available port of your television and still have the coaxial digital audio out to your receiver if desired. ~Jeannette
