• A:Answer These have big holes, so you're able to use thick speaker cable - the thicker the better for speakers according to many technical sources. 10-gauge is sold by the foot at Home Depot and Lowes for a great price. That is what I use in a reference system. You can simply remove the coating off the last half inch of wire with a knife or tool, twist the braids a little, and insert.

You need to check your Satellite radio receiver if it has the same connections for compatibility. Please take note that matching speakers and subwoofer with lower impedance (ohms) and watts than what the A/V receiver is rated may cause damage to the receiver and is not recommended. These speakers are built on sound foundations. A strong, ported enclosure allows for rich, resonant acoustics. The bass reflex duct, positioned at the rear of the speaker, suppresses unwanted noise and improves low-frequency sound reproduction. Hope this helps. ~Earl
