• A:Answer Hi mackenzieshealy, There are no microphone input on the camera. You can attach the camera to a tripod. Please note: use a tripod with a screw less than 5.5 mm (7/32 inches) long. Otherwise, you cannot firmly secure the camera, and damage to the camera may occur.

• A:Answer The audio is insanely good if you are directly in front of this camera! I use the camera, and haven't had any problems until recently with the microphone. I was filming and then I stood up, and upon standing up the audio quality dropped. So if you're in line with the camera and not above or below it, you should be fine. But if you're changing to different levels, then you may want to get an external microphone or consider another camera.

• A:Answer Hi zanoni, you can use it in conjunction with a lav mic but the camera itself does not have a mic input (the camera only has microphone built-in) so you will need an external audio recorder to use with the lav mic and sync the audio in post using a video editing software.
