A:AnswerThe RX100M2 itself does not have a microphone jack. The only way to connect external audio to it is via the multi interface hot shoe.
You can buy an external microphone such as the ECM-XYST1M which mounts directly on the hot shoe, or the XL1-K1M adapter which allows you to connect two external audio inputs via XLR jacks.
