• You can't- it has only 12 hour display. It's Sony's LIE (!!!) about military time available!

• I'm not sure it can be done as the clock comes formatted in the 12 hour system.

• According to the instruction sheet, you have to set that up first...and it only gives you 65 seconds to make the corrections...This clock/radio is hard to set...I got the "lemon" clock/radio where nothing is as it appears on the display..
