Yes there is GPS in this particular camera that can acquire your location. Then using the software PlayMemories Home you can import the image and location to a computer for veiwing on a map that shows their location. The settings for the GPS function are found by going into the cameras menu, selecting the tools box icon and scrolling down on the first page to GPS. More info can be found on helpguide.sony.net

Yes. The camera does have GPS capabilities. You just need to turn it on via the menu option.
