Yes it has an auto focus feature. You can probably set it to Center AF(Auto Focus), wherein it focuses on a subject in the center of the finder frame automatically. You can also probably utilize close-up shott function or Macro.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Are we talking about "Macro" mode? Or just auto-focus? Pretty much all digital cameras have "auto-focus." Hold the shutter button lightly (half way) to let it auto-focus, press it all the way to take the picture. Takes a little getting used to, but pretty easy. And there are likely different focus selection modes. Some might be better or worse than others for focusing on a specific object or part of a scene. But if you're getting right up close to the object, auto focus should work fine. If you're super-close, Macro mode would be better.
