A:AnswerYes you can. My DVD player in our TV quit and I was able to hook it up and go. Works great. I drive a truck and have it on the bunk and must add it is a tough little machine well worth the money, in fact I'd say just as good as the expensive ones. Hope this helps.

A:AnswerHello Annie, thank you for your message. JPEG is a playable file format compatible with the unit. For more information, check the operating instructions in the link below: https://docs.sony.com/release//DVPSR210P.pdf. - Oscar.
A:AnswerYou do not have to connect your accessory like a DVD player to your cable box. Your television may have other input sources HDMI ports or RCA cable connections. Routing the DVD player through a cable box is not a tradiitonal choice. If you do like the Sony reply indicated...make sure the cable box is on and tuned to the DVD player through a channel assigned in the cable box options. Make things easier by conencting the DVD player to the television and not the cable box.

A:AnswerThis model and many others will work if that TV uses yellow ,red and white RCA composite input , used in most TVs 1985 year and up to present 2021 4k tvs
A:AnswerWestinghouse, insignia, Toshiba and many others TV brands offer the most useful RCA video inputs, the 4k 75 inch Westinghouse is particularly impressive for most smart buyers
A:AnswerYes, it plays CD’s in all formats at a very respectable 24 bit 96 kHz rate. The remote allows for ease of audio playback.
It does not come with speakers and you’ll also need an A/V receiver.
A:AnswerIf your TV uses component or composite inputs it's compatible but only composite cables are supplied , if your TV lacks upconversion circuits and only uses hdmi ,then you must buy the upconverting DVD players with hdmi output and buy a hdmi cable too
A:AnswerWorks with any TV with composite and component inputs with Progressive scan line doubling if desired ; if your TCL is limited hdmi only, you need to pay more and buy the Sony sr 510h model because that TV lacks upconversion circuits and needs a upconverted picture
