• A:Answer technically yes, but please do not buy this camera based on this feature, it does not work like you would think, I find this feature to be useless even though its used as a selling point along with NFC, also pretty useless. bottom line is the best you'll get is a remote viewer with your phone and the ability to only send the duplicate low quality videos wirelessly. This is not where this camera shines

Q: QuestionWhat is the maximum size SDXC card that can be used with the Sony FDR-AX33 camcorder (128? 512? Other?)The user's manual indicates 'up to 128 GB' for 4K (@100Mbps). Is this a 'hard' limit?

Q: QuestionHello I’m worried about the 10x optical zoom. If I want to record full quality 4K videos in pretty clear clarity how far can I expect to be able to reach? 100 yards? 1000 yards? If I’m filming wildlife at 500 yards how will it look?

• A:Answer We are unable to give a a distance exact distance in yards. Our only recommendation when shooting 4K with this camera is to make sure to stick to the optical focal length which is 29.8-298.0 mm and not shoot digital zoom. The sensor is 1/2.3 type (7.76 mm). There are third party sites that may help you figure out the distance based on the sensor and the focal lengths provided.

Q: QuestionIf I have a Sony SF-E Series 128GB SDXC UHS-II Card U3 read speed 270mb/s and write speed of 120mb/s (purchased from best buy) will this AX33 still split into multiple clips or can this camera and card record 35-40mins continuous file with no breaks?

• A:Answer This unit does support exFAT. The limitation of spliting the file into multiple clips are for cameras that only support FAT32. You will not have that issue with this camera for that video length.

• A:Answer Hello EJ, thank you for your interest in the AX33, to use the camera as a webcam or to simply stream its video feed, the easiest solution would be an HDMI external capture card. You will have to output from the camera to the capture card via the HDMI cable and connect the card to your computer. You will see the incoming video signal as a video input on your computer.
