A:AnswerHi, OcJ!
The sound quality will still depend on the source that you're playing. Both wired and wireless will both produce very good audio quality.

A:AnswerYou will need to split your Bluetooth signal. The only reasonable way to do so as far as portable device's that I know is buying a phone that has dual Bluetooth option. I have a Samsung Galaxy s9 on order just for this purpose. There are some other models and brands of phone's that have that option but very limited. You will experience a lag sometimes doing this. When there is no lag it is fun to use for set ups like yo are asking about. There are Bluetooth splitters for home audio as well.
A:Answerim still waiting for my xb90 to arrive but I hooked up the smaller Sony speakers to my tv no issue so hooking this bad boy up to your TV should be no issue. and you can party chain them to have more!
A:Answeryes u can pair them but honestly the XB41/Xb31 series are easier to pair since they have a dedicated party chain button as does the XB90. the Bluetooth pairing on the xb40 isn't quite as good as the speakers that have the dedicated party chain software.
A:AnswerI couldnt get it to connect. My 2 7's will but not a 7 to a 9. The 2 7's have to 3 meters apart to be used in party chain. Im going to call sony
A:AnswerIt should have an internal battery. The battery charges when plugged in. Just unplug it and it should run on battery mode. There isn't anything extra besides the included power cord to charge it.
