“How do you connect dish remote to control volume of the sound bar?”

• This volume on this sound bar is NOT able to work from the Dish remote, even when using HDMI ARC and selecting that in the TV menu option. I bought the sound bar based on the above answered question, and was misled.

• Check your tv and make sure it has an open hdmi connection labeled with arc. (Audio return channel) The dish net remote should then be able to control volume on soundbar once hdmi arc is selected in sound portion of your tv's menu. My firestick remote controls soundbar volume on all apps I use. Works great as does my spectrum cable box when I choose input on tv they are hooked to via hdmi.

• Can't be done. Possible with a more intelligent remote but not the dish or direct remotes.
