QuestionI connected Sound Bar via Bluetooth from Alexa Cube, But the sound quality is very bad. Does it make any difference if it is connected via optical cable or HDMI? The sound is kind of more bassy and not clear.

- Answer I have 2 of these Sony HT S350 sound bars and they work and sound good. One is on a Sony 800 series 2yrs old and this model connects with a optical and HDMI cable and the other is a Sony 950 series and connects with only a HDMI cable. On the sound bar remote you can set the base volume I found these settings in the instructions

QuestionWhat's the difference between Multi Channel Main, Sub and Main/Sub? I have a roku box connected and the bar detects multiplex sound. I don't hear any difference changing the modes.

- Answer Hi Izzy, Thanks for your inquiry. You can enjoy multiplex broadcast sounds when the Sound Bar receives a Dolby Digital multiplex broadcast signal. The setting changes cyclically in the order of Main > Sub > Main/Sub. "Main" means the sound outputs on the soundbar, "Main/Sub" Main sound is output from the left speaker, and sub sound is output from the right speaker. Hope this helps! -Sam

QuestionEver since I hooked the sound bar to my Samsun smart tv using hdmi the tv comes on without me turning it on. Does anyone else have the same problem?

- Answer Hi Chivasmr12, We regret to hear about this. If your TV turns on when you turn on the soundbar, try to turn off the Control for HDMI function. Press and hold VOICE for 5 seconds to set the function to on or off. Hope this helps! -Sam

QuestionI have Sony Smart TV. I understand I can use this system with an optical connection and wireless subwoofer. What about the PLACEMENT? Does it belong near the TV facing out, or can it be across the room facing the TV, like maybe behind/beside the sofa?

But, we do recommend placing the Soundbar in a location with adequate ventilation to prevent heat buildup and prolong the life of the Soundbar. Also, do not place the Sound Bar near heat sources or in a place subject to direct sunlight, excessive dust, or mechanical shock. Hope this helps! -Sam

QuestionIs the bar supposed to be arched? I just set mine up and noticed the ends sit flat but the center doesn’t. Seems like it could be by design, but stock images all show it sitting flat and it’s weird to have a center foot pad that doesn’t actually touch.

- Answer Hi ED, We regret to hear you're having low subwoofer level issues with the unit. Please follow the troubleshooting steps below if there is no sound or only very low-level sound is heard from the subwoofer:  Press SW  + on the remote control to increase the subwoofer volume. Make sure that the status indicator on the subwoofer is lit in green or orange.  If the status indicator on the subwoofer does not light, try the following. – Make sure the AC power cord (mains lead) of the subwoofer is connected properly. – Press (power) of the subwoofer to turn on the power. If the input sources contain very little bass sound components (i.e., a TV broadcast), the sound from the subwoofer may be difficult to hear. Set the night mode to off. QuestionHow do you use it by Bluetooth?

- Answer You turn the Bluetooth on the device you want to use ie, iPhone, iPad,etc. Then you press the Secure Link button on the remote. HT-350 should show up on the device and select to pair.
