Yes, there is a set of rear speakers designed specifically for the system. They’re kind of pricey, but I find them essential. If you’ve ever heard a good home theater system consisting of a true 5.1 discreet speaker set up, it’s darn near as good. The addition of the two rear speakers transforms the sound bar and subwoofer into a 5.1 system. Highly recommend the addition of the rear speakers.

You can enjoy the surround sound by connecting two SA-Z9R which are the compatible rear speakers for the HTZ9F soundbar. With HTZ9F max 7.1.2 surround sound and our Vertical Surround Engine technology, you can enjoy the thrill of the latest theater audio format like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X - vertical surround engine lends a more realistic, multi dimensional sound to other formats too. No matter what type of room you're in, its's three front speakers reproduce "vertical", creating virtual sound that seems to come from all around you. It has eARC support to allow you enjoy Dolby Atmos from your compatible streaming providers, bringing a cinematic experience to your home. Hope this information helps! - Kris
