Hi Manan, Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, the soundbar will work on your TV using HDMI ARC connection. However, you can play Dolby Atmos format content output from a playback device, such as Blu-ray Disc Player. The nice thing about using the two Sony together you can use one remote to control sound once they are synced together. The 3.1 sound bar has excellent sound quality!! Good luck!
