• No you do not. My PS5 Slim stands perfectly fine without the stand. I'm not sure why people are buying this.

• No. My son bought the system before COVID. He just now thought about the stand. It's probably good to have one but I don't think you have to do it right away.

• You don't have to - it can sit on its side, just takes up much more space

• For the newer versions the slim versions it does not come with it. But for the older PS5 versions it comes in the purchase.

• The heat source and the LED screen are near each other, there inside and you cannot see it, but the stand will cause the problem with your PS5
