“Can these be used to noise cancel with no music or sound?”

• Interestingly enough, I think so. There's been a few times where I've put them in, and got busy before I started my music, and the noise cancellation kicks in and it's kinda weird at first but that's just cause it's really effective.

• Yes, they come with noise cancel programmed to turn on and of by tapping the left bud. If you want to customize further you should get the app on your phone.
