Hi GovernorNight, Thanks for your interest in the Sony LinkBuds S. A rechargeable battery is built into the charging case. If you charge the charging case in advance, it can charge the LinkBuds wirelessly. Unfortunately, the supplied case doesn't support wireless chargers. Charging is supported by using a personal computer with a standard USB port or a commercially available USB AC adaptor capable of supplying an output current of 0.5 A (500 mA) or more. If headphones that support wireless chargers are your priority, then we can recommend you our WF1000XM4. The supplied case of these headphones supports wireless chargers. With LinkBuds S, you’re always connected to your everyday worlds. Ultra-small and light, they can be worn comfortably around the clock, keeping you in touch with people and places. LinkBuds S switches automatically to optimized ambient sound or high-quality noise canceling for listening without distractions. I hope this helps! Best regards, Romeo Sony Social Support
