yeah, this works with iTunes as well as apple music.

On the iTunes sidebar click on library and right click on the playlist that you would like to sync with the NW-A306 and select add to device. Click on NW-A306 on the devices section and the playlist that you added will be listed on the "Music" section then click on the Sync button. You can also import playlists and create them on the fly. To transfer music content stored on a Mac computer to the player, you need to install additional software. An example of additional software is Android File Transfer. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes/ There is a music transfer app in it (I think it has to be downloaded, not sure, I've never used it). The iTunes files can be transferred manually (which I do) but it's probably easier for most people to use the transfer app. Sony has a user guide online that explains it.
