Open box items are just products that have been opened by a customer and returned for whatever reason. Typically manufacturer warranty is still intact. It's basically a personal decision on whether you are comfortable with buying an item that was opened and returned (unknown history). If it were me and I had to have one but the only choice was open box or a marked up one from a scalper, I'd definitely get the open box one and keep the money saved. Just make sure to test it out fully during the return window and ensure manufacturer warranty is intact to cover any problems after the return window.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Open box usually means the item was returned by someone. Or it was a display item. I wouldn’t recommend you get an open box one because they dont repair open box items.
