Refurbished means it went back to the manufacturer or authorized repair depot for reconditioning before putting it back for sale. Black Friday deals are for products that have been out from the beginning of the year and longer not brand new items that just released. If you’re lucky you’d probably get a free game if you bought one but I find that highly unlikely. Check this site and others between the 20th-22nd they’re supposed to be adding stock in the next couple days at multiple retailers. If you miss this wave you won’t get a PS5 until next year

If you check this site throughout the day, you will see that they’ve been selling open boxes for $20 cheaper. You have to be quick though because their website is slow and the shoppers are quick.
A:AnswerThe thing is Sony didn't want people showing up in large quantities anywhere to pick up their new console as they didn't want to be the target of any bad publicity. Also they probably just didn't want anyone getting sick from them… anyway it's up to the individual sites to handle the actual process and so far Best Buy has been the best one, on release date they actually released their stock later in the morning and did so in small quantities every few minutes to keep people from buying it up immediately, they also required you to confirm via email to be sure its you. This is a HUGE step up from how they handled their preorder day but people were a little upset about this because it took them a bit longer to order their playstation and attribute that to the reason why they didn't get one even though it is indeed a hot item. At the end of the day: sony has no say in how other companies sell the stock online, the scammers will always find a way around any hurdle anyways, and people will be upset no matter what. As time goes on more will be available and if people dont buy off ebay or other scammer-ridden sites it'll be easier to get a hold of at some point.

A:AnswerSo playstation has confirmed you can use 99% of the ps4 games on this system (digital and disk from my understanding) although they are still slow to the punch of being compatible from the 1-3 generations other than the classics they sell on the online store. But for sure physical copies for the 1-3 will NOT work.
That is really the only major thing the xbox has over us that bothers me since ALL the past generation xbox games work with their new system. One upside is that playstation seems to realize now how interested their customers are in this and seems to be taking an interest as a company in pursuing this in the future...
A:AnswerBestbuy launched their ps5 yesterday as well and already sold out. They dropped them around 10 am and required you to have an account, to reconfirm about adding to card as well as confirming with an email code as a way to work around bots since everyone was upset about the preorder situation a month ago. Theres been rumors on google about the other stores planning another drop on traditional black friday. If it happens then it will still be online orders so be prepared.
