This is a copy/paste from an article on a site called Glitched. According to an Anatel document approving the wireless module inside the console, the PS5 supports various wireless frequencies. This includes BlueTooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6 also known as 2×2 MIMO. This means the Wi-Fi on the PS5 is going to be pretty great. In addition, it supports various channels including 20MHz/40MHz and 80MHz. It is also capable of 2.4GHz and 5GHz bandwidth. All this is spaced between 1 and 165 channels. It goes onto to say it's a big step up from the 5GHz support found in the PS4 Pro.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'd assume it would use both, I didn't use the ps4 much but my xbox one x uses both.
