Just purchased an “open box” Mac Mini in “good condition”. Brought it home and before braking the tape seal checked the serial number on the receipt against Apple database. This Mac was purchased almost 2 years ago and is simply used, not “open box” with no warranty whatsoever. Looks like inside scam to me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. At Best Buy, you can shop for 'open box' items, which are things that were used or returned. To do this, go to their website and look for a button that says 'Open Box.' Click it to see the stuff that's on sale. Each item has a description to tell you if it's almost like new, okay, or not so good, and if it's missing anything. If you like something, put it in your cart, but make sure you understand the warranty and return rules. After that, you can buy it at a lower price. It's a cool way to save money on nice things!
