• PS5 digital version can't play DVDs natively. PS5 standard version supports native DVD playback, but it isn't region-free. Source:

• Yes, the PS5 can play CD Audio, DVDs, Blu-Rays, and UHD Blu-Rays. Playing these does not require this remote.

• The PS5 does NOT play CDs or DVDs of any kind, just Blu-rays. That includes both standard Blu-rays and 4K UHD Blu-rays.
