The PlayStation store has some games available to purchase, as well as some available just for “free” for having a PS Plus subscription (depending on the tier you get). The ones you purchase you can play without a PS Plus subscription. The ones you get from PS Plus you only have access to while your subscription is active.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you buy the game outright then you can play it till Sony revokes the license, which may be a year or 30 years from now. If you are playing the game on PS Plus and you cancel the subscription, or they remove it from PS Plus you can no longer play it. A digital purchase is not a purchase, it's a rental. You don't own it.
