Because of bots. Items like this should only be able to be picked up on the official release date. People should have to wait in line to get on to reduce the number of acalpers buying them up and flipping them.

Please try again later.best buy is very good combating bots actually they will make a small number available then it will say sold out they then will make more available about every ten minutes you must not get frustrated once you see it yellow and available again click it to go into a waiting queue. while waiting in the queue all bots get detected and pushed out of the queue when it is your turn in line you will have ten minutes to complete your transaction. good luck
