In my experience (having owned both), the SRS-XB2 produces much crisper, clearer tones, provides a more distinct bass, and produces a much louder sound without distorting audio.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sony blows it out of the water price , quality and features.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sound is better with the Bose, but Sony was only $69.00 compared to double and a half for the Bose, I use it in my shop and back yard only. Sound is fine and unit works well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I compared - the Bose Minilink is far superior. Up to you if you want to spend the $200 vs $68 - it is much better.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I listened to both in the store and definitely liked the Sony over the Bose which really floored me at the time... Was really surprised the Bose wasn't a lot better...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not comparing apples to apples. Sounds great for the price.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure about the sound comparison to Bose. I know the price is likely 1/2 or less & the sound is really nice on this Sony though. And I'm not a total Audio-Snob, but I good sound is fairly important to me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have both. Bose sounds is a little better especially in the high registers. Bass is about the same to me. I use Bose in the house and Sony outside as it is much more portable, that was my main reason for buying it. Also, they are both very loud which is nice to fill the room or using a tool.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This one sounds a lot better.
