The SA-RS3S wireless rear speaker is compatible with the BRAVIA Theatre Bar 8. Use a smartphone with the “Sony | BRAVIA Connect” app installed to perform initial setup and operations as well as configure the settings on the speaker system. Be sure to use the application to set up the speaker system even when connecting the optional speakers. Follow these instructions if you encounter an issue with the wireless connection: • Turn on the soundbar and check the wireless connection status. For details, refer to the Operating Instructions supplied with a compatible model. • Make sure that the power indicators on the speakers light in green. When the power indicators light in green, the connection between the speakers and a compatible model is established. • In the app, select Settings → Wireless Speaker Settings → Wireless Speaker Connection Settings. Follow the onscreen instructions for more details. • Check that the soundbar or optional rear speakers are updated to the latest version. Tap [Settings] - [Software update] on the remote control screen on the app. • If the optional speaker cannot be connected to the speaker system automatically, perform a manual connection.
