instructions are on the top of the third column of how tos in the instructions. Essentially you set up the first, shut of the first speaker then link the second. The source must allow that. Not all audio to blue tooth transmitters allow two links.

The SRS-XB12 speakers can BLUETOOTH each other (up to two speakers) and the SRS-XB20 speakers can BLUETOOTH each other (up to two for stereo sound), and the SRS-XB20 can BLUETOOTH each other party mode (up to 100 speakers) and can use party mode with a number of other Sony party mode compatible speakers. BUT the SRS-WB20 can not BLUETOOTH the SRS-XB12. Additionally, my computer was sending out two BLUETOOTH signals (via Aluratek ABC01F - which has worked great by the way). One to a XB12 and one to a XB20 - they were in perfect sinc. BUT when I had the XB12 was send out a BLUETOOTH signal to a partner XB12 the XB12's and the XB20 would keep on loosing BLUETOOTH signal, creating pauses in the music on one speaker or the other.

You may refer to this link for the list of speakers that support this function: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/articles/00191840 ~Ralph
