A:Answer Thanks Ralph, especially for such a prompt answer, but I just want to make sure we are on the same page. So are you saying it doesn't matter what device is transmitting the bluetooth signal, and/or whether the transmitter can send it's signal a distance of 100+ feet THROUGH a wall? And that because the Sony speaker's normal range is line-of-sight 30 feet, that a 200+ ft range bluetooth transmitting device would still have to be located within 30 feet of that Sony XB22 speaker? Obviously I'm not a bluetooth expert or I would not have asked my original question. But "30 feet and no walls - with no exceptions" makes me wonder why so many extended range transmitters are out there if 99.9% of the usual receiving devices would not be able to take advantage of the extended-range transmitters. I don't want to abandon consideration of those Sony speakers before confirming I definitely need to. thx
