A:Answeri believe the cord you need is an "micro usb". then you can connect the speaker to any samsung or apple power adapter. if you have an android devise, you could just use that cord as most of them are micro usb.

A:AnswerThe USB port on the speaker is for charging other items only, not as an input or output for sound. You must use the smaller headphone input to hardwire your music source to the speaker.

A:AnswerI've used a ton of different cords. As long as it has a micro USB end... Charges mine just fine. I know some micro USBs have a longer or shorter charging tip.. I've I have used lots of them and they seem to work okay for me.
