• A:Answer Hi Rob, pressing and holding the Batt button at the back of the speaker for about 3 seconds will turn the speaker lights off. Thanks, -Mark

Q: QuestionIs there a way to turn the Extra Bass on and off? Or is Extra Bass only turned on when Live Mode is on? I've heard that Live Mode isn't good.

• A:Answer When you first connect via bluetooth it will prompt you to download an app which controls the settings on the speaker. through that app you can turn bass boost off, turn treble all the way up, mid up 15 percent, and bass down 20 percent. that will in my opinion make this speaker sound great! i myself do not like the live mode and leave it off

Q: QuestionI bought Sony xb41, not holding a charge, it turns on for less than 5 seconds, to charge, then it turns the speaker off and not charging with any device at all. I did a hard reboot, didn't work, any suggestions? I have the unit less than 4 months, Thanks

• A:Answer You may have a defective unit. I got one for my wife at Christmas so she could play music from her phone in the car. When she leaves for work I can hear the Sony playing from her car in the garage from my bedroom. Even when I set it up for her it was loud and clear sounding. In fact turning the volume all the up was almost too loud for me and I always enjoy my music loud.

• A:Answer To my knowledge you can pair with another speaker similar to this one... not sure if your SONY soundbar is exactly same. If it isn't it may not pair. You can add several of the same type of speaker advertised for even a bigger surround sound.
