QuestionSince this receiver/amp has A and B speaker output channels, can I use the A channel for my two full range speakers and use the B channel for an active sub speaker? I'm assuming the crossover on the sub speaker will filter out the higher frequencies.

- Answer I purchased this receiver last month and have mine setup as you described. Even though the manual for my sub stated that connecting the receiver to the speaker level inputs on the sub is the least desirable connection method, that was the only choice I had with this receiver. I have this setup in my home office to play albums and also stream audio from my mobile phone. Works well for those applications.

- Answer Hi JDog808, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, there is no option to connect a wireless subwoofer to this receiver. However, you can connect a wired subwoofer instead. Check the subwoofer to determine if it has IN and OUT speaker wire connections. If so, connect the left and right speaker wires from the stereo receiver into the left and right speaker IN on the subwoofer. Then, connect speaker wire from the left and right speaker OUT on the subwoofer to the left and right main speakers. Regards, Sam

- Answer No, it has a built in Bluetooth Receiver only, for receiving audio via paired bluetooth devices. There is no Bluetooth output function on this receiver. T

QuestionI cannot get my turntable to play thru this receiver to our JBL Bluetooth speaker. It works w/our normal speakers but not Bluetooth. Is there a certain setting I’m missing or do I need a Sony Bluetooth speaker?

- Answer Hi Pete, thank you for your inquiry. The STRDH190 uses an infrared (IR) remote control. And IR remotes rely on the line of sight from the remote to the component. Unfortunately, if the cabinet is closed, the remote control will not work. Hope this helps. -Sam

With our STR-DH190 Stereo receiver with Bluetooth, you can choose whether you enjoy the warm sound of vinyl via the phono input or stream music from your digital music collection, it'll be a perfect match. Additionally, the receiver’s A or B function lets you connect two pairs of speakers. You can easily switch between A or B or use them all together at the same time. - Answer I hooked a powered sub to my Sony receiver. My sub had speaker wire inputs so I used regular speaker wire to hook it up with. Works and sounds great.
