- Answer I don't think the Bose 900 smart sound bar can be paired with a receiver like this Usually sound bars are stand alone devices that already have a built in amplifier So it defeats the purpose of a sound bar to try and pair it with a receiver The type of speakers you're going to want to use with it are floor standing speakers/bookshelf speakers A center channel speaker A subwoofer And satellite speakers/ in ceiling speakers

- Answer Hi Joe, Thank you for the inquiry! Do not install the AV receiver in a confined space, such as a bookcase or built-in cabinet.The reception might be poor depending on the location. - Answer It does not. I just have mine connected to my TV that is capable of 120hz and only have the TV out connected on my receiver so I use my TV inputs instead of the receiver inputs which is no trouble

QuestionHaving audio issues on ARC playback. I turn on the tv one moment it works turn off the tv and then on again the sound doesn’t come on or it will be delayed. I tried turning off EARC. Was me turning off EARC the solution? Note my tv does not support EARC

- Answer Generally speaking, things will mastered at different levels. My UHD blu rays are always louder than streaming. Try night mode or pushing up DB or add treble on your center channel

QuestionCurrently I have 5 8 ohm speakers 2 6 ohm speakers. From what I read online this receiver may not be able to pull that power but will it over load this receiver? If not what should be my configuration of Speakers?

- Answer Hi Jay, When matching speakers and Audio/Video (A/V) receivers, the ohm rating of the speaker should be equal to or greater than the ohm rating of the receiver to avoid a risk of hardware damage. Any speakers that feature bare wire connection will work to this receiver, as long as their impedances are from 6 to 16 ohms. Questionrecently upgraded from the 520 to 790, few things like know, A. I have 2 subs connected however on the calibration test it emits sound only from 1 sub not the 2nd. B. for D.Vision to work I presume does need a supported TV - 4K fire has this?

- Answer Hi bob74, We're sorry to hear that. Make sure that subwoofer cable is properly connected and if possible replace it with a new one. Speaker wires that are anywhere between 12 to 16 gauge are most commonly used for connecting speakers to an amplifier or an Audio/Video (A/V) receiver. Yes, you need Dolby vision compatible television to output Dolby vision content. Regards, David
