Yes, this Blu-ray player is compatible with Amazon video app and it plays from where you left.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Liz, Yes it does work with amazon video/prime. As long as you will not turn OFF the player, it will go back where you stop. Thanks, >Joffrey
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This response is incorrect. We just purchased this DVD/Blue-ray player today from Best Buy, and there is no app available for Amazon Prime. This is the main reason we chose this particular player. If someone doesn't help us figure out how to play Prime on it, we'll be returning it to the store for a refund.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Agreed with Lucy, just picked you from Best Buy curbside (which was awesome and ready in under an hour) yet as she states, there is NO prime app .... so this goes right back tomorrow. This was a wasteful trip to the store and I wish I saw this earlier because in the description it states that it did support it. It should be fixed so it’s current. Hulu is also no where to be found.... just a bunch of useless apps and a couple that they add to your favorites that you can’t remove like some recipe one I have zero interest in. Too bad because it was a good price at 70$
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does pick up where you left Off after shutting down a movie not sure about Amazon but I've watch both Netflix and Hulu using it
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can also verify there is no Amazon Video on this unit, so I need to return the one I got today. I saw the answer saying it did have it from 4 years ago, I should have expanded all the answers. Our old Sony player also stopped supporting Amazon, I think it's a contract thing. So it's likely no Sony brand players will have Amazon Video available now. Our Samsung player still gets Amazon, but you can't buy Samsung players any more except the super-expensive model. It seems blu-ray/dvd players are being phased out, so you may be better off to get a Roku or other streaming device if you have a non-smart tv.
