A:AnswerYou can export the recordings as an audio file (.mp3, .wav, etc) and play these on any music player that supports these file formats (iTunes, WinAmp, VLC, etc)
A:AnswerThe PS-LX300USB does not have built in speakers or a headphone socket, so it does need to be hooked up to a computer and/or amplifier to hear the sound.
A:AnswerHi Wendy1978, this is not compatible with TVs. You need to buy speakers that are compatible with this unit. You may refer to the manual for more information about connecting this unit to speakers other devices. Thanks! ^Ron
A:AnswerHi Di, The turntable doesn't accept speaker connection directly. You'll need to connect it to an amplifier or device(with speakers) that supports turntables. ~Ralph
A:AnswerIt depends on what you want to do. It can appear complicated because it has a lot of pro features. I use it for basic recording so I can add my albums to my collection on the computer. For that it's not difficult at all. It takes a little learning but has a good built in manual. A lot of enhancement features are built in as well, allowing you to improve on the recorded sound with just a click or two. There is an automatic record and restore button specifically to make vinyl recording and improvement easy but I found it to not always divide the tracks properly. I do it myself. It's a little more tedious but not harder.
A:AnswerHi Dorsey, It comes with the phono cables attached to the unit while the USB cable is detachable. You may refer to page 8 and 12 of the link below for more information:

A:AnswerYes, the Sony belt drive USB turntable has both RCA output compatible with (AUX) input on your stereo receiver as well as line level output for a phono preamp setting (PHONO) and the computer compatible USB output. I show a picture which shows the switch on the back of the turntable which enables you to switch from PHONO to LINE. You will use the LINE setting for your AUX input on your receiver. If your receiver has a PHONO input you would use that setting. The other photo shows the RCA stereo cable that is included with the turntable. If you use the RCA stereo cable you may need to get an RCA to 1/8 inch audio cable if the receiver has that type of input. Many powered speakers also have the 1/8 inch input.
A:AnswerThe turntable only has a line-level output. It is not amplified. You will either need to connect the usb output to you computer or connect the audio cables to an amplifier/receiver that then transfers the sound to your speakers.
A:AnswerThe PS-LX300USB US version is 120v/60hz only so will require a transformer for a 220/50hz area. The power consumption of the turntable is very low at just 2 watts.
A:AnswerThe supplied software, Sound Forge Audio Studio LE is Windows only, for a Mac you would need to load third party software to process the USB audio codec.
A:AnswerThe turntable itself does not have pitch control, however Sound Forge Audio Studio 9 LE can adjust the pitch once you have transferred the music to your computer.
A:AnswerThis is a magnetic cartridge by Audio Techica. It’s actually a pretty good cartridge, though you can’t remove the cartridge, you can remove the stylus for repair and upgrades.
A:AnswerThe Stylus is included with the Sony PS-LX300USB Turntable. To remove/replace/clean the stylus, refer to the page number 14 of the instruction manual. http://www.docs.sony.com/release/PSLX300USB.pdf
