Its a piece of junk for $500. Its only 60 watts and a 400hz to 20khz frequency response. Overpriced Sony garbage. Sony has fallen.

Please try again later.The manual specifies the following: With 4 ohm loads, both channels driven, from 400 Hz – 20,000 Hz; rated 60 watts per channel minimum RMS power at stereo mode, with no more than 0.7% total harmonic distortion from 250 milliwatts to rated output. This is probably as honest and fair measurement as you will find for this type of product. Unfortunately it's not directly comparable to typical home audio products. We can assume that the speakers cover a range that goes lower than 400Hz, and that the speakers are unlikely to provide a real 4ohms so how do we compare it to another product? You really can't. Bottom line . . go give it a listen. I have one. It's capable of huge volumes and it will fill a large space. Go listen.
