• The Sony Walkman MP3 player does not have a built in speaker. You need to plug in headphones or external speakers of some sort.

• There's no external speaker. You would have to buy some small external speakers or a generic MP3 player docking station - not one made for an iPod - be sure to check that. Go to a BB store if you can to check what's available - in most of them you can test it with your player if you bring it with you!

• There are no external speakers, so you do have to use headphones (comes with 1 pair), or plug it into a speaker.
