All of these answers are spot on. I bought my pair in May of 2022 and now it is September of 2023 and in the span of one week my earbuds went from being able to charge 100% and lasting hours to only being able to charge to 60% and lasting 20 mins. Of course the warranty only lasts one year so this is all perfect timing.

After 1 year and 1 month (just outside of the warranty) the battery only lasts for 5 to 10 minutes. BUT, if you set them back in the case for a minute or two, they might last for another 5 minutes...THEN they are dead for good.

Barely longer than the warranty

In the beginning approximately 4+ hrs of listening after a full charge. NOW, approximately 1 1/2 yrs to the purchase date. I’m lucky to get 1 1/2 hrs listening on the left earbud and almost 2 hrs on the right before they completely shutoff with the battery dead. This started happening about 2 months ago and have gotten progressively worse. I will definitely not recommend these if you’re looking for longevity. Ive had cheaper skullcandy and Beats earbuds that lasted for 3+ years (at a much cheaper price) before the battery life even began to wane. The Beats never did. The sonys’ just sounded better.

Had mine since 05/2022 and the wokred fine up until a few months ago. Now, both earbuds can be at 100%. Then, after 20 minutes of use, the left will be at 90% and the right earbud will be at 30%. $250 Earbuds should deffinitely last longer than a a year and a half. what a rip off.

Advertised to be 8 hours new with noise cancelling enabled, though your mileage may vary.

Bought mine November 2021. Starting around August, 2023, the left earbud would only last 30-45 minutes and won’t charge all the way - and gets hot in the charging case. The ear tips also are coming off frequently and aren’t comfortable anymore. Definitely wouldn’t have bought if I thought they were throw-away after less than two years.
