- Answer I don't think it matters. However, they are not always "compatible" with Sony TV's, as advertised. These, mine, are being returned. Took "geek squad" 3 months to figure it out

- Answer Use an optical cable: from optical out Samsung 8 Series 4K Smart TV to optical in Sony WH-L 600 Base Station. Or, use a HDMI cable (the most idea):, if the Samsung 8 Series 4K Smart Tv has an ARC HDMI out to ARC HDMI in Sony WH-L 600 Base Station. Make sure the Sony WH-L 600 Base station settings are switched appropriately, in addition to the TV's setting. Please be sure to use an upgraded optical cable or a HDMI, e.g. Audio Quest..

- Answer I’ve used these when working in Ableton and although they’re quality isn’t anywhere as good as wired headphones I’d say they’re latency is unnoticeable.

QuestionI play all games and movies through my Sony receiver through the different inputs on it. I believe it does have an optical audio input. Can I connect the headphones to the optical input and use them for each input on my receiver?

- Answer Yes, you can connect your headphone dock to the optical OUTPUT on your receiver. I have my headphone dock connected to the optical output on my TV because I do not have an audio/video receiver at this time. I do not have enough HDMI ports on my TV to use the HDMI connection on the headphone dock. I think the HDMI connection would be better than the optical connection.

QuestionYour last answer was not what I asked, I watch my Q65 without head set using the volume control on the remote. my wife needs to use a headset, can we both watch tv and I hear via TV volume and my wife uses the headset at the same time using the headset.

- Answer Unless you have the volume very low on the remote, your wife may find the slight delay in sound through the headset annoying.
